Description Original Ode Records vinyl 45 RPM of "San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)" by Scott McKenzie. Debut on the Hot 100 Billboard charts on 5/27/1967 and peaked at #4.This is the rare pressing that has a different mix featuring a very echoey bass drum during the song's "bridge". There is no difference between the record label with the normal mix and this alternate mix. Both versions are original. Why Ode Records decided to release at the same time, different mixes of this same song are unknown.
