Description At last I've managed to find one of my favourite records on CD! Kandidate were a Britsoul group in the late 70s and one of their members was none other than our man Phil Fearon in his pre-Galaxy days. They recorded for Mickie Most's RAK label, so their material tended towards the pop rather than the soul end of the market. 'I Don't Wanna Lose You' was their biggest hit (#11 in April 1979), smaller hits were 'Girls Girls Girls' and the fantastic 'Don't Wanna Say Goodnight'. I'd love to be able to upload that one, but where 'I Don't Wanna Lose You' was hard enough to find, 'Don't Wanna Say Goodnight' is nigh on impossible :-(I can't find any pictures of the group so, given the title of the song, I've used some pictures of critically endangered animals instead.
